Laura, what a PLEASURE to be among those who can say, "yes, I DO know, and have ordered FROM Laura C.-A. !"
The detail was excellent! e.g. the baby shoes, c'mon, how FEW designers could execute THAT (as well)...FEW, is the answer.
The detail of the font and other scripts, the piping along the edges, the contours of the bottle, the coloring...THEN, there was "the cake" itself....i.e the slice-after-slice that appeared under all the ART! --and on and on and on we could go
If you hadn't already sensed it, the cake was A HIT....but ...when one comes to know L.C.-A., one quickly realizes, all THAT is no surprise!
I'm happy that this occasion provided me the privilege to meet (and collaborate) with you...but, as I mentioned before, reaching-out to you, was something I knew would happen "sooner-or-later"
Thank you.....for your artistry, and perhaps even more so, for choosing to apply your highly capable intellect in this form.
Grazie mille,
P.G.,
and ALL those who devoured that bottle, er uh um, I mean cake.
p.s. there were "nerves" about slicing-out the "first piece"; i.e. not wanting to "vandalize" the art.....needless to say, that feeling passed :-)
